ARTS ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

  • Position(s): 1
  • Dates: Tues May 23 – Sun August 27
  • Pay: $15.00 an hour, hourly position
  • Housing: Shared housing shall be provided for a fee of $75.00 a week.  The housing fee shall be deducted weekly from the employee’s paycheck.  Housing has basic furnishings, is collegiate style, with shared bedrooms
  • Travel: Not provided
  • Location: Brunswick, ME

 

Primary Responsibilities

Essential functions include (but are not limited to):

  • Assists the Company Management, Box Office, Development, and Marketing departments
  • Company Management, assist with housing, travel, transportation, and admin projects
  • Marketing: assist maintaining and posting on MSMT’s social media; editing; graphic design; working with the Media
  • Development: assist with solicitation letters, making posters, and admin projects
  • Box Office: assist selling tickets and covering box office as needed
  • Admin duties: paperwork, filing, copying, mailing, returning phone calls and emails
  • Open and close the MSMT admin/production facilities
  • Shipping, Receiving and Mail Processing
  • Participate in MSMT events as needed and/or required
  • Adhere to all MSMT policies and procedures including Covid 19 Guidelines & Safety protocols
  • Drive MSMT vehicles
  • Have a friendly, warm, positive, and respectful attitude
  • Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful working environment
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Production and MSMT Annual Staff

 

Qualifications

The following skills and experience are required:

  • Proficient with Mac, PC’s, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google docs, and other applicable software
  • Organizational, interpersonal, time management, multi-tasking, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, energized, and quickly changing environment
  • Able to work independently and as a team player
  • Detail oriented; able to prioritize efficiently and multi-task
  • Driver’s license and clean driving record required
  • Car preferred but not required
  • Must be fully vaccinated and boosted from the Covid-19 virus
