ASSISTANT COMPANY MANAGER

- Pay: $825.00 a week, salaried position
- Housing: Shared housing provided. Housing has basic furnishings, is collegiate style, with possible shared bedrooms

- Location: Brunswick, ME
Position Overview
The Company Management department is responsible for the care and well-being of all employees and is essentially the “concierge” for the company. The Company Management department shall take care of complex tasks, assume responsibility, and support a committed team. Together you will reliably achieve the common goals.
Primary Responsibilities
Essential functions include (but are not limited to):
- Housing: responsible for the care, setup, and organization of company housing for all employees which includes setting up all apartments, changeover/making up bedrooms for each employee turnover, cleaning apartments as needed, arranging cleaners, making housing comfortable, organizing repairs, booking rentals and hotels as needed. Housing is a major part of the CM department.
- Booking travel for employees as needed
- Organizing travel pickups at the airport/bus stations/train stations with the MSMT volunteer organization the Angels
- Provide local transportation if needed
- Provide support for employee work related injuries, transporting to doctor’s and P/T appointments, ER, and other medical services
- Filing and tracking accident reports and workers’ compensation claims
- Process employee paperwork
- Create employee contracts and needed
- Arrange craft services
- Create and file a variety of reports
- Company Communications, emailing daily to company with daily schedules and any info needed
- Adjusting and maintaining company calendars
- Facilities: arranging repairs etc. for MSMT buildings
- Open and close the MSMT admin/production facilities
- Shipping, receiving and mail processing
- Payroll distribution
- Participate in MSMT events as needed and/or required
- Adhere to all MSMT policies and procedures including Covid 19 Guidelines & Safety protocols
- Drive MSMT vehicles
- Have a friendly, warm, positive, and respectful attitude
- Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and respectful working environment
- Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Production and MSMT Annual Staff
Qualifications
The following skills and experience are required:
- Knowledge of theatre administration
- Proficient with Mac, PC’s, Microsoft Office, Adobe, Google docs, and other applicable software
- Superior organizational, interpersonal, time management, multi-tasking, problem solving, and communication skills
- Extremely meticulous
- Experience working in a fast-paced, energized, and quickly changing environment
- Able to work independently and as a team player
- Calm in a crisis
- Detail oriented; able to prioritize efficiently and multi-task
- Driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Car preferred but not required
- Must be fully vaccinated and boosted from the Covid-19 virus
