MSMTv

MSMTv is a virtual “show” where hosts Ben McNaboe (Music Supervisor) and Amanda Choate (Development Director) interview MSMT actors, directors, designers, and technicians. They share what they are up to now, what they love (and miss) about MSMT, and share funny and poignant “behind-the-scenes” stories about the theatre. We then pit them against each other with different game every week! Episodes air on Facebook and YouTube on Fridays at 2 PM through August.

EPISODE 1: CHARIS LEOS AND CHUCK RAGSDALE

EPISODE 4: “The Mainahs” – Ray Dumont and Scott Moreau

Release date: Friday, June 19 – Episode 4 features Ray Dumont (longtime actor/director/choreographer at MSMT, most recently serving as Education Director, choreographer for “Grease” and “The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber” and director/choreographer for “Three Little Pigs” and “The Little Mermaid”) and Scott Moreau (best known for playing Johnny Cash in MSMT’s “Million Dollar Quartet” and his show last season “Walkin’ the Line.”) Game: Maine Trivia

EPISODE 5: BAD ASS WOMEN OF MSMT

Release date: Friday, June 26 – In episode 5 we talk to four amazing women of theatre: Director Donna Drake (AIDA, Hello, Dolly!; Sister Act; Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story) and Choreographer Rhonda Miller (Chicago; Hello, Dolly!; Sister Act) and two technical alums – Kimberly Kinan and Becca Sundberg. EPISODE 7: JASON WETZEL AND MICHAEL BUCHANAN

Release date: Friday, July 10 – Episode 7 of MSMTv features Music Director Jason Wetzel (who has done over 25 shows with MSMT) and actor Michael Buchanan (Monty in Saturday Night Fever and Monsieur D’Arque in Beauty and the Beast). MSMTv EPISODE 10: CARY MICHELE MILLER AND AARON MCALLISTER

Join these two married lovebirds for a very romantic episode of MSMTv. You’ll remember Cary from Sister Act, Footloose, The Music Man, Gypsy, and our co-pro with Portland Stage: The Irish and How They Got that Way. Aaron is a music director who has been with us for many shows including Gypsy, Footloose, and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. We end the show with an MSMT version of the newlywed game!

On Episode 11 we interview the young members of our company: Declan Kelley (MSMT’s Tommy) and Siobhan Kelley (MSMT’s co-production of Grease, I Love a Piano, and Saturday Night Fever), Andrew Lyndaker (MSMT’s The Music Man and The Wizard of Oz), and Sophia Scott (Beauty and the Beast and The Wizard of Oz)!
