BOX OFFICE

Box Office Associates

Box Office Associates use the Patron Manager ticketing system to assist with incoming and outgoing customer calls, with day/night of show walk up sales and will call distribution. Must follow proper cash handling procedures and reconcile daily transactions; troubleshoot customer issues in a professional manner with guidance from the Audience Services Manager; maintain knowledge of items currently available to customers; understand and relate purchasing policies to customers; maintain a positive attitude and have a genuine interest in helping others.

This is a part-time hourly position which includes day, night and weekend shifts.  Dates range from May 26 – August 23


ADMIN INTERNSHIPS

Company Management:  works with the Company Manager in a wide-variety of tasks.  Duties include, but are not limited too:  housing and travel arrangements, transportation, craft services, shipping and receiving, mail processing, and box office customer service.  Preferred skills include:  basic office/computer skills and arts management.

Theatre Administration:  works with the Director of Marketing, the Director of Development, and other annual administrative staff to assist with all aspects of managing the theater, including but not limited to: assisting with the preparation and distribution of season promotions, the creation of show programs, coordinating special events, tracking donors, gift acknowledgment, and sponsorship relations. Some work with company management and the Box Office. Preferred skills include: basic office skills (Microsoft word, Excel); experience with CRM (or willingness to learn); familiarity with graphic design (Photoshop and InDesign); basic photography skills; and social media experience (Facebook, Twitter, etc).

ADMIN APPRENTICESHIPS

Company Management:  works with the Company Manager assisting in a wide-range of tasks.  Duties include, but are not limited to:  housing and travel arrangements, transportation, craft services, shipping and receiving, mail processing, and payroll.  Preferred skills include:  basic office/computer skills and arts management.

ADMIN JOURNEYSHIPS

Company Management:  works with the Company Manager assisting in a wide-range of tasks. Duties include, but are not limited to:  housing and travel arrangements, transportation, craft services, adjusting company calendars, creating/filing reports, facilities, workers’ compensation, unemployment, shipping and receiving, mail processing, and payroll. All applicants must be able to work on their own; have exceptional multitasking and organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have basic knowledge of theatre management. This position requires driving MSMT company vehicles.  Proof of a valid driver’s license and clean driving record must be provided when applying.
