Set in the 1590s, brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to write a hit play but are stuck in the shadow of that Renaissance rock star known as “The Bard.” When a local soothsayer foretells that the future of theatre involves singing, dancing and acting at the same time, Nick and Nigel set out to write the world’s very first musical. But amidst the scandalous excitement of opening night, the Bottom Brothers realize that reaching the top means being true to thine own self, and all that jazz.

The outrageous, crowd-pleasing musical farce, Something Rotten, received several Best Musical nominations and show-stopping standing ovation from audiences… in the beginning of the first act! The show was hailed by Time Out New York as “the funniest musical comedy in at least 400 years.”

From August 7 – October 31, 2019 subscriptions are up to 40% off the price of a single ticket. From November 1 – January 31, 2020 subscriptions are up to 30% off. On February 1, 2020 subscriptions are still available but rise to the single ticket price. Subscriptions still offer significant savings, as single tickets are dynamically priced based on the amount the performance is sold. Subscriptions are always at the lowest single ticket price. Single tickets go on sale for subscribers on March 27 and for the general public on April 1.
