Join the Maine State Music Theatre team for a Regional Theatre Tour. We’ll explore the theatre scenes surrounding Philadelphia and New York City, experiencing the very best of what American theatre has to offer.

The Play That Goes Wrong – at the Fulton Theatre, starring Curt Dale Clark

An unconscious lady, a corpse who can’t play dead, a ruffled detective, and a word-mangling butler (among others) must battle against technical gaffes, forgotten lines, and sabotaging scenery in a quest to arrive all in one piece at the final curtain call.

 

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof – at Walnut Street Theatre

Set in the “plantation home in the Mississippi Delta” of Big Daddy Pollitt, a wealthy cotton tycoon, the play examines the relationships among members of Big Daddy’s family, primarily between his son Brick and Maggie the “Cat”, Brick’s wife.

Disney’s Hercules – at the Paper Mill Playhouse

The inspired Disney animated film is now a mythical new musical adventure. Disney’s Hercules is the divinely funny story of an honest-to-Zeus hero on a quest to discover who he is and where he belongs.

 

A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical – at the Broadhurst Theatre

A Beautiful Noise follows the great Neil Diamond through his years. Starting out as a young boy in the 1940’s and growing up in the rough neighborhoods of Brooklyn, New York, with his immigrant mother and father. A chance gift of an acoustic guitar at age 16 set him on a life of music.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES for this tour

VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS

All guests who are ages 12 and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with an FDA or WHO authorized or approved vaccine and may be asked to show proof of vaccination at their time of entry into the theater, along with their ticket. Exceptions to our vaccination requirements will only be made for the following:

  • Guests under the age of 12 (provided such guest is accompanied by an adult who meets our entry requirements)
  • Guests who need a reasonable accommodation due to a medical condition or a sincerely held religious belief that prevents vaccination. Guests with accommodations must provide a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to the performance start time or a negative COVID-19 antigen test taken within 24 hours prior to the performance start time, verified or administered by a third party.

MASK REQUIREMENTS

Guests may be asked to wear a face mask when inside a venue except while actively eating or drinking in designated areas. Single-use disposable masks and cloth masks with at least two layers of tightly woven breathable fabric are acceptable. Gaiters, scarves, and bandanas are not acceptable face coverings. Masks must cover the nose and mouth and be secured under the chin.
