Volunteer Positions

Our volunteers are the backbone of Maine State Music Theatre. We rely on dedicated volunteers to help us continue to fulfill our mission of to offer engaging performances that entertain, educate, and enrich lives with power and passion.

Maine State Music Theatre is currently making fabric face masks for Mid Coast Hospital, which then distributes the masks to family members and partner organizations, including long-term care and independent living communities in the region. If you want to get involved in this effort, contact Amy at rentals@msmt.org.

Ushers assist the House Manager in preparing the theatre for the performance. This may include carrying, stuffing and distributing programs, escorting patrons to their seats, assisting physically disabled or challenged persons in and out of the theatre and to their seats. Age requirement to usher is 14 years and up.
